b. Air leakage (see 3.6) - 30 signal assemblies of one
designation selected from the assemblies after test specified in
"a" above. After completion of the transportation vibration and
air leakage tests, each signal assembly shall be conditioned and
fired at the proving ground as specified in 4.4.3.
4.2.2.3.3 Rejection. -The first article sample shall be
rejected If any loaded signal assembly fails to comply with:

The Government reserves the right to terminate its inspection upon
encountering any failure of an Item in the sample to comply with
any or all requirements.
4.2.2.4 Jolt test
4.2.2.4.2 Inspections to be performed ten (10) signal
assemblies shall be subjected to the jolt test as specified in
4.4.7.
4.2.2.4.3 Rejection. -The first article sample shall be
rejected if any signal assembly fails to comply with the re-
quirements of 3.7 as classified in 4.3.3.8, Table V. The
Government reserves the right to terminate its Inspection upon
encountering any failure of an item in the sample to comply with
any or all requirements.
4.3 Inspection provisions
4.3.1 Lot formation. -The term "inspection lot" as used in
this specification is defined as an essentially homogeneous col-
